Until now, AkzoNobel has mainly sold its paint products (A-brands such as Flexa, Cetabever, Sikkens, Alabastine and Trimetal) via paint shops and hardware stores. But online sales are growing rapidly. The E-commerce department, as a central link between e-retailers, brand and product management, sales and logistics, works to continuously improve the customer journey and strengthen the digital channels and their conversion. E-commerce Project Manager
As a major coordinator of e-commerce projects, you work closely with the global team, our own programmers, and external online agencies. You are able to see things from the customer's perspective and can spot commercial opportunities to ensure the rapid growth of product sales.
You identify opportunities and initiate new developments or improve existing online tools. You deliver the roll-out of new websites and platforms on time as a result of your project management experience. You are responsible for projects, from beginning to end: from the formulation of technical specifications for external partners and programmers, through the management of the project partners, and finally to the implementation and testing of new functionalities. And of course, you also ensure the embedding of the new tools and methods by providing training to colleagues and client-side users.
On the one hand, many projects will result from your own insights and creativity. On the other, you will also motivate the other parties who are involved to identify opportunities. You encourage colleagues from the sales offices, customer service, technical support, brand managers, content managers, product managers and other users to proactively contribute to the e-business. This will make your network a driving force for commercial growth.
- Graduate level with extensive experience in project-based work and online project tools;
- Familiar with Google Analytics and the interpretation of data for optimization opportunities;
- Affinity with digital marketing, e-commerce and social media;
- Preferably recent experience in e-commerce and knowledge of Usabilla and VWO;
- Driven team player, preferably used to working with programmers;
- Entrepreneurial self-starter, pragmatic, creative, flexible, result-oriented;
- Excellence communication skills in spoken and written Dutch and English.
